The Gaze
In this project, I made an installation which resembles a giant virus model consisting of eyeballs. It aims to visualize "sights" from our surroundings that are invisible but anywhere and anytime, like a virus. The sights could come from other individuals, social groups, power groups, etc. The way how they affect people could be through judgments, social values, dogma, etc. In our social life, everyone is being watched and affected by these sights. Different kinds of interactions with these sights are presented by the gestures. Regardless of the attitude, eventually, the majority would be assimilated as part of it since everyone is a unit of the society. People are being gazed at and gazing at others at the same time.
